Key Executive Position in Cargo Pricing Strategy

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Executive to spearhead our cargo pricing strategy for Intra Asia trade. This pivotal role will involve developing and implementing pricing strategies, yield management, and commercial activities across the region.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of revenue and cost elements applied in pricing, as well as familiarity with local charges and recoveries in all Points of Loading (POLs) and Points of Discharge (PODs).

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue generation and enhance market competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including overseas branches, to support revenue growth and business development initiatives.
  • Acquire and analyze data on revenue and costs elements applied in pricing.
  • Understand equipment imbalance situations for the country being handled.
  • Compile monthly reports on market trends and performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pricing analysis or commercial roles within the shipping industry.
  • Degree/Diploma in Business or an equivalent field.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous, outgoing, and assertive individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment.
