Datacenter Operations Engineer

  • We are seeking a skilled Datacenter Operations Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
  • This role will be the first point of contact for break-fix technicians and will prioritize ticketing queues to resolve escalations.
  • The Datacenter Operations Engineer will perform power cycles, troubleshooting, and replace failed components.
  • The position requires physical assistance in moving and installing equipment, as well as assisting in projects such as adding new capacity and working on retrofits within the Datacenter.
  • A strong desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills is essential for this role.
  • Additionally, this position involves participating in an on-call rotation and establishing strong working relationships with various internal teams and external partners.
  • The successful candidate will also assist with inventory and asset management, as well as work with physical security and EHS teams to support site health and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • An engineering degree or equivalent professional experience/certification is required for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Linux and server hardware repairs, as well as a working knowledge of technologies such as DNS, RAID, and DHCP.
  • At least three years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology is necessary for success in this position.
