We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Utility Engineer with exceptional coordination and project management skills.
This role involves coordinating the diversion of utilities, supporting structures, and other required infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of site utility diversion work and be able to oversee projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate utility diversion works and ensure timely completion.
- Study existing utilities and oversee site utility diversion work.
- Liaise with approved subcontractors for services diversion works.
- Identify and resolve system failures by performing preventative maintenance.
- Direct project groups and technicians on utility process, design, and construction.
- Compile data on utility process units, monitoring system efficiency, energy usage, and material usage.
- Manage utility construction projects, developing project scope, timelines, specifications, and budgets.
- Engage and liaise with approved subcontractors for service diversion work.
- Report progress, planning, and proposals to resolve anticipated issues hindering site progress to the Utility Manager.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Min. 1 to 3 years of experience in construction supervision/project coordination or similar scale and complexity.
- Registered Earthwork Supervisor with EMA/SPPG (advantageous).
- Experience liaising with relevant utilities agencies.
