About the Role

This Senior Sales Leader role is a high-profile opportunity to drive revenue growth and mentor a team of sales professionals at Gartner. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own territory, identifying key buying centers, and expanding the company's client base in Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed financial targets while developing and executing strategies to drive business results aligned with the overall sales strategy.
  • Attract and retain top talent within the sales team by implementing effective recruitment methodologies and building a pipeline of candidates for potential open territories.
  • Leverage key best practices to drive and successfully sell new business opportunities, focusing on net new logos and client accounts.
  • Build and manage a list of new individuals and clients to drive business development, collaborating with internal resources and external networks to prioritize and penetrate key accounts.
  • Drive high activity through team prospecting sessions with direct reports and ensure each team member can develop C-level relationships.
  • Provide leadership through effective communication of the global strategy, coach and develop direct associates, and improve team success through effective leadership and mentorship.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 10 years of proven consultative sales experience in high technology (services or software) to large multi-national companies with 2+ years of management experience.
  • Proven experience in developing new business, effectively building prospect lists, and transitioning prospect companies to clients.
  • Proven experience in closing enterprise-wide complex sales solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate sales associates.
  • Strong business acumen, forecasting skills, influencing skills, and interpersonal skills to share knowledge with a team and support the growth strategy within sales.
