Job Title:

Head of Environmental Health

About the Role:

This senior position is responsible for developing and implementing company-wide environmental health standards. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and promote a proactive safety culture across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
  • Promote a safety-first culture among site personnel, embedding EHS excellence as an integral part of all work activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industrial and company safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and develop improvement plans.
  • Investigate and review internal incidents/accidents and implement procedural changes or improvements.
  • Review case studies of external incidents and propose improvements to project operations based on the findings.
Requirements:
  • A Registered Professional Engineer (Civil) with the PE Board (with a valid PE Practising Certificate).
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural) or equivalent.
  • At least 12 years of EHS experience in the construction field, with at least 7 years in a managerial capacity for building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS management, EHS regulations, and planning capabilities to support construction progress and operations in Singapore.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate and share vision, goals, plans, strategies, and values to influence the team in achieving desired objectives.
