  • Our organization seeks a diligent Maintenance Assistant Engineer to oversee the maintenance of District Cooling System (DCS) plants, Retail Cooling Monitoring (RCM), and other field works. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical features of ACMV and District Cooling System.">
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing and monitoring service and maintenance programmes, supporting analysis and optimisation of plant maintenance, and supervising and implementing all maintenance processes.">
  • Additionally, the Maintenance Assistant Engineer will conduct routine inspections of facilities to detect and resolve problems, assist engineers in calibrations and control troubleshooting, and assign and release work orders to maintenance specialists and contractors.">
  • The position also involves ensuring that work methods comply with established standards and procedures, administering Permit To Work system, and upholding a safe operating environment.">

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Oversee maintenance activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.">
  • Implement and monitor service and maintenance programmes.">
  • Support analysis and optimisation of plant maintenance.">
  • Supervise and implement all maintenance processes, including externally sourced contractors.">
  • Assign and release work orders to maintenance specialists and contractors.">
  • Closework orders/service requests after completion of work.">
  • Ensure work method complies with established standards and procedures.">
  • Assist engineer in facility enhancement and improvement works.">
  • Ensure all maintenance records are properly documented.">
  • Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.">
  • Administer Permit To Work system.">
  • Uphold a safe operating environment and carry out all maintenance activities in compliance with company's policies & procedures and government legislation.">

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Control & Instrumentation/Air-conditioning Engineering.">
  • Good understanding of technical features of ACMV and District Cooling System.">
  • Practical experience in Energy Management System and local/remote control and monitoring system.">
  • Working knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment.">
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Good awareness of Health, Safety, and Environment.">
  • Willingness to perform shift duty at various sites.">
