**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Operations Officer for Engineering to drive the success of our engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, mentoring and guiding the engineering team, and ensuring all systems and facilities are operating seamlessly.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead daily operations, maintain building systems, ensure safety compliance, and manage departmental responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Engineering team.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
  • Communicate effectively with hotel leadership and external contractors.
  • Foster collaboration between Engineering and other hotel teams.
  • Monitor energy and utility usage.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of engineering/maintenance experience in hospitality or related industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and mechanical systems.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse team of engineers and technicians.
  • Solid understanding of workplace safety and preventive maintenance practices.
