International Trade Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to serve as our International Trade Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping, logistics, or trade compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement international trade strategies to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Review trade orders for any restricted items or blacklisted entities.
  • Manage export licenses and maintain accurate product classification codes.
  • Coordinate global shipments with warehouse teams and freight forwarders.
  • Address and resolve trade-related issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve shipping operations and compliance strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping, logistics, or trade compliance.
  • Knowledge of freight, Customs, or IT products is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or GTS is an asset.

This individual must possess excellent analytical skills, as well as strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

This position requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully navigating complex trade regulations and ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
