Merger and Acquisition Associate

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Merger and Acquisition Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential acquisition targets, conducting financial analyses, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate potential acquisition targets through thorough research and analysis of market trends, industry developments, and company performance.
  • Conduct financial modeling and analysis to determine the viability of potential acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, and suppliers.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on merger and acquisition opportunities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a M&A team in a corporate, trading house/physical commodities company or investment firm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior management, investors, and other stakeholders.
