Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Partner with the Head of Global Broking to define and execute the region's future growth strategy.
    • Support the delivery of the Group's and the Global Broking Division's strategic objectives.
    • Play a key leadership role in Singapore, acting as the head of Global Broking's delegate where required.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the implementation of new business initiatives and business change projects.
    • Act as a partner to each centre's Managing Director(s) in furthering their objectives and targets.
    • Produce strategy and board papers in conjunction with the COO/CCO office.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Keep up to date on knowledge of the ever-changing regulatory environment.
    • Identify best practices and improve internal systems with an eye toward future needs and budget realities.
  • External Relationships
    • Manage and cultivate relationships with key external stakeholders to secure and expand strategic opportunities.
    • Act as a statesman publicly representing the Company to external constituency groups.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of the financial markets, in particular Rates and FX.
  • Essential for individual to have prior experience in a Business Management / COO role.
  • Proven understanding of regulation impacting the Financial Services.
  • Experience of working within governance frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, highly organised with a pro-active approach.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Action orientated, flexible and innovative approach to operational management.
Desirable
  • Experience of working in an inter-dealer broker.
