Senior Project Coordinator for Sheet Metal Operations

This is a senior-level role where you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication of sheet metal components.
- Manage the production process from start to finish, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review drawings and ensure manufacturability.
- Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress against key milestones.
- Optimize cost, material usage, and production efficiency without compromising quality or deadlines.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate outsourced processes such as surface treatments and laser cutting.
- Operate welding machines and perform welding tasks according to engineering drawings and job requirements.
- Weld using aluminium, stainless steel, or electro-galvanised (EG) sheet metal.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or mechanical project management.
- Strong knowledge of metalworking processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, and surface finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD files.
- Possess a valid driving license and forklift license is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and team coordination skills.
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English is preferred.
