Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Specialist to join our team. As a Data Specialist, you will play a key role in building data-driven solutions for our organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing Domain-Aligned Data Products: Transforming raw datasets into well-documented outputs that align with business areas.
  • Automating Data Ingestion and Quality Assurance: Using modern data pipeline tools or cloud-native services to streamline data ingestion and quality assurance processes.
  • Managing and Optimizing the Data Platform: Administering resources, security, performance, and cost controls to ensure optimal data platform performance.
  • Implementing Governance and DevOps Standards: Establishing governance and DevOps standards across the platform environment to ensure data quality and reliability.
  • Designing and Building Business Intelligence Solutions: Creating end-to-end business intelligence solutions that meet business needs.
  • Troubleshooting Complex Data Challenges: Guiding users toward scalable and governed solutions to complex data and visualization challenges.

You will be responsible for communicating complex data insights clearly to business audiences and leading workshops to support end-users.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven Experience: Designing, developing, and deploying BI solutions, including data modeling, visualization, governance, and user training.
  • Practical Experience: Operating data platforms, with a strong preference for familiarity with modern cloud-native data fabrics or analytics platforms.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, dimensional modeling, and contemporary ELT/ETL methodologies.
  • Software Development Experience: Knowledge of programming languages used in big data or analytics environments is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to business audiences.
