AT Specialist Role

Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AT Specialist to develop, implement, and monitor Assistive Technology Services. The successful candidate will work closely with our Special Education team to provide training and support on assistive technology devices.


About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students. As an AT Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing assistive technology plans, providing training and support, and coordinating the implementation of assistive technology solutions across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement assistive technology plans for students with disabilities
  • Provide training and support to teachers and other staff members on the use of assistive technology devices
  • Coordinate the implementation of assistive technology solutions across the organization
  • Conduct assessments and identify assistive technology needs for students
  • Collaborate with special education teachers to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that incorporate assistive technology
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in assistive technology and share knowledge with colleagues

Requirements:
  • Diploma in Special Education or related field
  • At least 3 years' experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing assistive technology plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with assistive technology devices and software
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies

Working Location:

This role is based at our headquarters in Singapore.
