The role of the Manufacturing Process Specialist is to oversee all equipment and facilities in a safe and efficient manner, while ensuring that they are properly maintained. This individual works closely with a team to guarantee smooth operations, highlighting any safety, quality, or efficiency concerns.
Main Responsibilities:- Perform batch/unit or ancillary operations safely and efficiently, following established standard operating procedures.
- Conduct routine mechanical and lubrication checks, and perform maintenance and repair using hand tools as necessary.
- Handle materials and movement using hand-pallet trucks, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment in a safe manner.
- Ensure accurate recording of batch and operating log sheets.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, and hand over production status and any safety, quality, or efficiency concerns at the end of each shift.
- Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Technology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical API plant.
- Experience in rotating shift work.
- Familiarity with good manufacturing practices and safety procedures.
- Trouble shooting skills.
- Basic awareness of industrial standards.
- Good knowledge of maintenance and operating principles of production and utility equipment.
