About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring chemical production activities in our plant.

Your primary objective will be to ensure that processes are run according to process description, complete batch documentation accurately and thoroughly, while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor chemical production activities in the plant.
  • Ensure processes are run according to process description.
  • Complete batch documentation accurately and thoroughly.
  • Adhere to quality and safety standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving problems that arise during processing.
  • Maintain qualifications and learning milestones as necessary for related duties.
  • Handle sampling programs for water and environmental systems.
  • Perform and manage facility cleaning and sanitization programs.
  • Manage staging of raw materials and consumables.
  • Participate in pre-commissioning and chemical commissioning activities under direction of operations and production leads.
  • Participate in SHE, business compliance, cGMP, and other compliance-related matters where applicable.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or related industries.
  • GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of safe working practices, cGMP, and good documentation practice.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Able to handle stress, internal stakeholders, and external factors such as vendor management.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated.
