**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves performing laboratory testing and ad-hoc analyses of production samples.

**Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily shipment and non-routine analysis of in-process and finished products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Perform basic calibration for laboratory equipment to ensure they are maintained in good working condition.
  • Carry out documentation control for test results and ensure proper documentation of laboratory work and quality control records.
  • Prepare density columns for grade transition for in-process and classification testing.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the laboratory.
  • Provide support for laboratory-related assignments as assigned by immediate superiors.

**Requirements:

  • Diploma in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or an equivalent discipline with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Entry level candidates without experience are welcome to apply.
  • Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
  • Team player with initiative and good communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to perform rotating 12-hour morning shift work.
  • Able to perform overtime work if required.
  • Willing to work in Jurong Island.
