We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Engineer to lead our cloud database team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, deploying, and optimizing enterprise-level cloud database platforms on major public clouds.

  • Lead the implementation of multi-cloud architectures for databases, ensuring high availability, high performance, and cost optimization.
  • Design, deploy, and optimize cloud databases on various cloud services, including relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Select appropriate database types and service models based on business requirements.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions, monitoring database performance, and resolving production incidents.

A strong understanding of core database principles and advanced SQL optimization skills is essential. Experience with database migration tools and cross-cloud synchronization solutions is also preferred.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in DBA, including at least 2 years managing public cloud databases.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale databases, sharding, and read/write splitting.
  • Expertise in database services of at least one major public cloud (Alibaba Cloud or AWS).
