**Job Title:** Senior Marine Maintenance Manager

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Maintenance Manager to lead our team of Fleet Engineering Specialists in the maintenance and repair of marine crafts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

 

  • Organize and deploy a team of Fleet Engineering Specialists to carry out maintenance and repair work of machineries and equipment onboard marine crafts.
  • Update Fleet Engineering Management on daily manpower deployment and provide feedback on readiness of marine crafts for operations.
  • Coordinate with Fleet Operations team daily for repair and maintenance of marine crafts.
  • Take lead in driving Fleet innovation and newbuild projects.
  • Review inventory and non-stock items and propose recommendations to stock spares for maintenance and repair work.
  • Plan and monitor the maintenance schedule of all equipment onboard marine crafts and in the workshop.
  • Engage external stakeholders to carry out scheduled docking and project management of jobs.
  • Develop plans for learning and development, performance, and discipline of the team of Fleet Engineering Specialists.
  • Mentor, coach, and motivate the team to achieve relevant targets and outcomes.
  • Work with key managers to create a conducive working environment.
  • Upkeep and maintain proper documentation records of all assets, jobs done, purchase for spares, special tools, and manpower utilization.

 

Requirements:
  • Degree in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Marine industry.
  • Good cross-discipline knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering domain.
  • Good knowledge of electrical and instrument systems and familiar with electrical schematics diagrams and symbols.
