Job Title: Project Finance Associate

A globally renowned law firm is seeking a talented professional to join its award-winning project finance practice in Singapore.

This is a rare opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic team that handles significant and complex energy and infrastructure transactions across Southeast Asia and the wider APAC region.

You will advise sponsors, lenders, and government entities on the financing and development of landmark projects in sectors including renewable energy, conventional power, oil & gas, and transport infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating core financing and security documentation.
  • Advising on risk allocation and bankability issues.
  • Playing a key role in transaction management from inception to financial close.
  • Mentoring and supervising junior team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in project finance.
  • A strong academic background and qualification as a solicitor in England & Wales or as a New York attorney.
  • Experience gained at a highly regarded U.S., Magic Circle, or Silver Circle law firm, known for its strength in finance.
  • Excellent communication skills, commercial acumen, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
