Job Title

A highly skilled Product Manager is required to lead the Medical Device portfolio in Southeast Asia.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will identify market trends, new product opportunities, and clinical trends through a high level of market presence and appropriate market research and competitor analysis.
  • This position requires providing product-related support, resources, and direction to the sales team.
  • The Regional Product Manager must ensure compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and industry requirements for portfolio and product communications and activities.
  • Ongoing assessment of MRP forecasts and stock ordering with the purchasing team is also required.
  • The role involves identifying and managing stock turns, as well as slow-moving and excess stock.
  • Managing and coordinating industry conferences in conjunction with the Marketing Communications Department is another key responsibility.
  • Developing and initiating marketing campaigns and supporting marketing activities with customers are essential tasks.
  • The successful candidate will assist in developing customized marketing materials for the Sales team and customers.
  • Ensuring products meet local regulatory standards and healthcare regulations, including working with regulatory affairs teams for approvals and certifications, is crucial.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Product Management within the medical devices/healthcare industry.
  • Regulatory knowledge and expertise in medical device regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, conduct performance reviews, and drive employee engagement.
  • Experience working with sales, marketing, regulatory, and medical teams, as well as external stakeholders like hospitals.
  • Ability to develop and execute regional product strategies.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and relationships.
  • Strong skills in managing product lifecycles and multiple projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical device technologies and clinical applications.
  • Familiarity with regional healthcare systems and market trends.
  • Experience leading teams through change and driving continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing products across multiple regions or markets.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies for medical devices.
