Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a qualified pharmacist to join our team.

  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Review medication charts or prescriptions for appropriateness and ensure clear dosages and minimal adverse reactions.
    • Fulfill drug orders accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Account for all costs and revenue related to medications.
    • Dispense medications, explaining indications and administration instructions.
    • Provide drug information and lectures to healthcare professionals.
    • Delegate, oversee, and review the work of assigned subordinates.
    • Evaluate compliance with legal requirements for sales and supply of medicinal products.
    • Maintain accurate records for drug receipt, supply, storage, and distribution.
    • Represent the department in clinical committees and perform other job-related duties.
    • Review and improve pharmacy procedures and policies periodically.
    • Supervise performance, conduct appraisals, write reports, and make recommendations.
    • Actively participate in Pharmacy education and development programs.
    • Pursue continued reading of journals and publications for professional advancement.
    • Ensure adherence to established policies, practices, and regulations.
    • Provide training to pre-registration pharmacists and trainees.
    • Support hospital activities such as quality control, community projects, staff welfare, and recreational activities.

Requirements:

  • Min degree in Pharmacy.
  • Valid AHPC with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
