Procurement Expertise: Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain Optimization

The Procurement Executive plays a critical role in driving strategic initiatives to enhance competitiveness, efficiency, and profitability. This position is responsible for managing global procurement strategies to optimize costs and supplier relationships across various operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute strategies aligned with the company's objectives
  • Identify procurement opportunities and potential suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, securing favorable terms and conditions

Cost Optimization:

  • Implement cost-effective procurement strategies to achieve saving targets
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with global procurement activities
  • Develop contingency plans to ensure assurance of supply

Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate to establish quality standards for procured parts
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement quality improvement initiatives

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business needs
  • Participate in cross-functional teams on new product realization and initiatives

Compliance and Ethics:

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to global procurement
  • Promote ethical procurement practices throughout the supply chain

Requirements:

  • Degree or Professional Qualification in Supply Chain Management or any engineering-related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing
  • Experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management with a focus on global operations
  • Knowledge of global procurement practices, market dynamics, and supplier relationship management
  • Negotiation and contract management skills
  • Effective communication skills; good interpersonal and cross-cultural experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate in languages other than English is a plus
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to travel overseas and willing to relocate overseas
