Global Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

The role of the Global Supply Chain Optimization Specialist is pivotal in enhancing business efficiency within the supply chain department and cross-functional teams. This key position involves designing, developing, and implementing the company's supply chain management processes, ensuring continuous improvement through auditing and maintenance throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Enhancement: Collaborate with process owners to update and optimize existing supply chain management processes.
  • Process Reviews: Conduct regular reviews to identify and implement improvements.
  • Strategic Process Development: Develop and implement new processes such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP), aligning them with the overall supply chain strategy and objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead strategic projects aimed at achieving Supply Chain Excellence.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Cycle Time Reduction and Cost Price Reduction Initiatives: Drive initiatives for key products, focusing on reducing waste and improving efficiency.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of CPR and CTR data through reliable data management systems.
  • Supply Chain Operations Analysis: Analyze supply chain operations and propose improvement activities based on concepts like Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Kanban.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Inventory Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Minimum Degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
  • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Business Process Analysis: Strong understanding of production processes and business process analysis.
  • ERP and Warehouse Management Systems: Familiarity with ERP and warehouse management systems.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills with all organizational levels and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changes.
