Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our finance team as an Assistant Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will have expertise in consolidation, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments and regions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of consolidated financial statements, managing intercompany transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and oversee the consolidation of financial statements in compliance with SFRS;
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions, ensuring accurate eliminations;
  • Collaborate with departments to develop and monitor budgets and prepare consolidated forecasts;
  • Provide detailed internal reports on consolidated financial performance, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements;
  • Work closely with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any issues related to consolidated financial statements;
  • Implement efficient and effective consolidation processes and systems;
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain governance over financial master data.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, and minimum 5 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting. CA certification is preferred, along with proficiency in financial software, preferably in S4 HANA. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Bonus points if you also possess basic knowledge of business law and can review and provide input on simple contracts.
