Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Fish & Co. As a key member of our kitchen operations team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day activities of our restaurant kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Cost Management: You will be accountable for managing food costs, menu planning, and the development of new products to meet our business needs.
- Food Quality and Safety: You will ensure that food quality standards are met and delivered, and that our kitchen operations adhere to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Staff Supervision: You will hold a supervisory role, with the authority to influence or make decisions on issues such as recruitment, discipline, termination, and assessment of performance of your staff.
- Training and Development: You will be equipped with the ability to train and demonstrate cooking techniques and proper equipment usage to our team in the back of house.
Requirements
- Culinary Skills: Good culinary skills with sound working knowledge in all work stations of the kitchen.
- Experience: Min 3-4 years' experience in a similar capacity with a reputable and established organization.
- Leadership Qualities: Good communicator with leadership qualities.
- Culinary Passion: Passion for food and culinary arts.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
