Job Description:
The Senior Assistant Manager is a key team member of the Group HR Centre of Excellence (CoE), Performance and Rewards (P&R) team. The role plays an instrumental part in driving the planning, policy development and review, system administration and implementation of performance management initiatives.
This position involves strategic advisory, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and operational excellence in executing performance management policy reviews and initiatives. Key Responsibilities include formulation, review and implementation of performance management policies to maintain relevance and compliance with organisational values and industry best practices.
Collaboration with Shared Services, institution workgroup members and project teams ensures policy alignment in processes and procedures. Advisory support on performance management policies and processed is provided to key stakeholders including HR Business Partners and institution performance management representatives.
Annual performance management exercises are driven from initial planning through stakeholders' engagement, system administration, and employee communications. The performance management process for senior management is also managed.
Performance management materials and guidebooks are developed to support institutions in achieving their performance management objectives and maintaining consistency across the organisation.
Performance moderation sessions are conducted and secretariat support is provided at both functional and group levels. Analytics and Reporting involve generating and analysing performance data to support moderation sessions.
Comprehensive reports and presentation materials are created to facilitate decision-making during performance moderation exercises. Collaboration with the HR Technology team and external system implementation vendor ensures policy alignment in HR system configuration and workflows.
Continuous performance management module system enhancement initiatives and projects are driven. Configuration, testing and deployment of the performance management module are overseen.
Partnership with the Learning and Development team strengthens the competency of both appraisers and appraisees ensuring effective performance management processes.
Conduct and validate job evaluations using Korn Ferry Hay Job Evaluation methodology for promotion cases to facilitate career progression decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Relevant professional certification is advantageous
- Strong analytical abilities with intermediate Excel proficiency for interpreting big data sets
- Strong stakeholder engagement in large complex organisation
- Excellent planning, project management and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management Module and Job Evaluation methodologies, particularly Korn Ferry Hay would be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience in Performance Management
