**What the role is**
- SG Cares is a national movement dedicated to supporting Singaporeans’ efforts in building a more caring and inclusive home for all. The movement invites Singaporeans to put values into action through active volunteerism, ground-up efforts and everyday acts of care. It also aims to build capability across various sectors and organisations to grow opportunities for volunteerism.
The Policy & Planning Team in the SG Cares Office is responsible for developing policies for and promoting volunteerism and philanthropy in Singapore. This includes ensuring implementation is integrated with the plans of other public agencies and people sector partners.

**What you will be working on**
- As a member of the Policy & Planning Team, you will:

- Develop and review policy options as well as formulate medium to long-term strategies to grow volunteerism and philanthropy in Singapore.
- Develop strategic communications to promote volunteerism and philanthropy.
- Work closely with key internal stakeholders such as senior management and operational teams from other public agencies on policies and plans to drive volunteerism and philanthropy.
- Conduct programme evaluation to track impact and alignment to policy intent.
- Perform secretariat and staffing duties at key meetings and events.

**What we are looking for**
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in policy and planning
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and able to grasp and articulate abstract concepts easily
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills (inclusive of writing and presentation)
- Good stakeholder management skills and able to build rapport with others
- Passion for public policy
- Experience in the social sector is an advantage
