About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Platform Developer to join our organization, where you will play a key role in connecting our customers to their products and data, and powering business model innovation.

In this opportunity, you will be responsible for promoting a 'Platform First' philosophy, fostering the development of a platform that is cohesive, API-accessible, and ensures a uniform user experience. You will also assist in ensuring the Platform yields significant insights into customer product interactions, potentially leading to new revenue opportunities and customized user experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build and maintain highly available and scalable platforms using AWS services
  • Design and build appropriate observability solutions from an operational excellence standpoint
  • Prior experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications. Experience with serverless approach like AWS Lambda is an added advantage
  • Good to have Knowledge of using Terraform
  • Key responsibilities include Design, build and maintain efficient, secure, reusable and reliable code
  • Develop solutions that are portable across platforms
  • Apply continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, resulting in a straightforward solution and reducing complexity
  • Write test automation and help your team to deliver frequent incremental releases using CI/CD pipeline
  • Help promote and drive sound engineering design, process and quality practices
  • Having experience using Datadog monitoring tool can be an added advantage

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Understanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access management
  • Strong communication, and technical writing skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively through an agile development process that promotes constant team communication
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Docker and Terraform is a must
