Key Responsibilities
  • Contracting Strategy Development
    • Develop and implement contracting strategies to achieve business objectives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, strategy, and contractor market.
  • Contract Management
    • Manage the pre-qualification process for contractors.
    • Set up and execute contracts, including scope changes and schedule obstacles.
    • Manage the tendering and contracting process up to contract awards.
  • Supplier Management
    • Organize pre-qualification for tenders under allocation.
    • Ensure updating of approved vendor lists for qualified vendors/contractors.
    • Conduct site visits of contractors for growth projects as required.
  • Contract Administration
    • Ensure proper implementation and follow-up of procurement contracts.
    • Facilitate visibility and availability of contracts.
    • Ensure adequate usage of contracts.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and principles.
  • Purchase to Pay
    • Effectively execute and/or manage the relevant S&P steps in the P2P process.
    • Use the supporting ERP system to manage procurement activities.
  • Project and Category Strategy Development
    • Develop and execute project and category strategies based on key categories of procurement plans.
    • Conduct internal and external analyses to define and agree on the best strategy.
  • Performance Measurement
    • Understand and periodically measure and analyze processes and their performance/results.
    • Provide recommendations to improve performance.
    Requirements
    • Commercial Awareness
      • Strong commercial awareness and experience of contract law.
    • Contract Negotiation and Vendor Management
      • Proven experience in contract negotiations and vendor management.
    • Negotiation and Communication Skills
      • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
    • Analytical and Decisive
      • Analytical and decisive with high initiative.
    • Team Player
      • A quick learner, a good team player, and possessing the aptitude to work well independently.
    • Education and Experience
      • At least 3 years' experience in contracting management or procurement-related experience.
      • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
