Job Title: Data Center Operations Specialist

The primary objective of this position is to maintain the operational integrity of the data center. This involves providing support in ticket resolution, hardware replacement, fiber cabling patching, and fiber testing.

This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the seamless functioning of data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities include assisting customers onsite or remotely, racking and stacking network equipment or servers as per client requirement, installation of fibre and UTP cables, inventory checking and reporting for sites, logging and tracking incidents through ITSM tools, and collaborating with vendors and various teams for project work.

Key qualifications for this position include a minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, 1-2 years of working experience, and proven experience in data center operations.

Strong knowledge of data center hardware, fiber cabling, and networking technologies is also required.

Certification in relevant areas, such as Cisco CCNA or equivalent, is a plus.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
