Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost and Contract professional to join our team.
">About the Role
">The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of Cost and Contract Executives.
">Main Responsibilities
">- Assist in preparing cost budgets, tracking changes in design/construction work, and adjusting budget projections accordingly.
">- Prepare extension of time and costs claims (VO).
">- Work closely with the project team to ensure timely award of subcontractors and suppliers.
">- Communicate with technical teams to ensure quotations comply with specifications and method of construction.
">- Prepare quantity measurements and drawings within targeted timelines.
">- Source quotations and prepare cost analyses based on drawings, design, materials, and labor requirements.
">- Negotiate and award subcontracts for projects.
">- Attend site/technical meetings and site viewings.
">- Review and prepare agreements for award to subcontractors and suppliers.
">- Certify and evaluate progress work done, including contract administration for variations on both subcontract and main contract works.
">- Assess and submit monthly progress claims, recommending subcontractor's monthly progress payment.
">- Finalize subcontract and main contract final accounts.
">- Provide advice on cost feasibility.
">- Draft tender documents, including writing of BQs, setting benchmark of evaluation criteria, and weightage of Price-Quality Method (PQM).
">- Prepare OMM prior to project handovers.
">- Certify final valuations and payment settlements.
">- Act as financial advisors and monitor progress for clients.
">- Compile contract correspondences (queries & clarification, qualifications).
">- Negotiate Contract Schedule of Rates/T&C.
">- Bind contracts and distribute them to contractual parties.
">Requirements
">- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
">- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
">- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
">- Strong organizational and time management skills.
">- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
