Job Title: Crisis Management Professional

An Incident Response Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless data centre operations across multiple locations.

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Crisis Management Professional, responsible for delivering technical support for data centre operations and managing incident response efforts effectively.

  • Provide expert technical support for data centre operations, including alarm handling and incident management.
  • Respond to alerts from various systems, such as Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), Server Automation Operations System (SAOS), CCTV, and Access Control Systems (ACS).
  • Analyse incidents to determine their criticality and impact on business operations.
  • Maintain detailed records of incident handling activities, including actions taken and resolutions.
  • Coordinate incident response efforts as an incident commander.
  • Support program managers in delivering project objectives and improving operational initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring problems.
  • Employ problem-solving techniques, such as five whys, to determine the underlying cause of incidents or problems.
  • Manage ticketing systems effectively.
  • Perform duties in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a command center, service center, or similar 24x7 operations environment.
  • Able to quickly assess and prioritise multiple incidents based on risk and confidence levels.
  • Knowledge of technical aspects associated with IP Networks, DC Environments, and Server Health.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required for working with minimal direction and meeting goals.
  • Able to interact successfully at all levels of the organisation, including clients, while functioning as a team player.
  • Familiarity with data protection policies, such as GDPR, and the need to maintain sensitive information securely.
