Vessel Operations Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join our team. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations of our fleet, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maximizing vessel uptime and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance Strategy & Compliance: Develop, implement, and monitor the BOA Maintenance Policy in accordance with Class, Flag, and statutory regulations. Ensure all vessels comply with ISM, ISPS, and maritime safety standards.
- Budget & Cost Management: Define, control, and report on OPEX & CAPEX budgets for technical operations. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or performance.
- Fleet Integrity & Inspections: Implement and oversee the BOA Fleet Integrity Policy, ensuring vessels meet technical and safety standards. Manage Management Inspection Vessel (MIV) operations, including audits and condition assessments.
- Team Leadership & Department Management: Lead the Technical Department, including Maintenance Teams, Field Service Engineers, and Superintendents. Foster a safety-first culture, ensuring adherence to QHSE policies.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Provide detailed technical reports on defects, incidents, maintenance performance, and KPIs. Analyze failure trends and implement corrective/preventive actions.
