Job Description

This role involves a challenging mix of skills, expertise, and experience in Quality Assurance and Application Testing. As a Manual Tester, you will be responsible for identifying defects and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Your primary goal is to ensure that software applications meet the required standards and specifications.

You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to fully understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage. This requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to assess software functionality and identify even minor defects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems is essential for this role. A background in specific sectors such as finance, healthcare, or retail is also desirable.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in manual testing, preferably within an application development environment, is required.
  • Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, and similar platforms is necessary.
  • Experience in SIT functional testing, SQL, and scripting is highly valued.
  • ISTQB certification is also highly valued in this field.
