Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of quality assurance specialist involves comprehensive testing of integrated payment systems.

  • Responsible for end-to-end system testing including planning and executing the full testing lifecycle from test planning to defect closure.
  • Identify business and system requirements to design and develop test cases, ensuring that they are aligned with the overall company objectives.
  • Design and prepare test environments and execute manual and automated test procedures to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Develop automated test scripts and perform system performance tuning to guarantee high-quality output.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements and identify test coverage gaps, resolving issues promptly.
  • Log, track, and follow up on defects through to resolution, ensuring a smooth process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for test case reviews and updates, fostering open communication.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of user acceptance testing (UAT) and production issues, improving test processes accordingly.
  • Prepare user guides and documentation for automated testing tools, making it easy for others to understand.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in system testing and test automation, preferably involving embedded or UI-based devices and back-office systems.
  • Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Experience with card payment systems will be an added advantage.
