Incident Response Specialist

This exciting opportunity exists within OCBC's Cyber Security department where you will work alongside a talented team of professionals to protect our digital assets from cyber threats. As an Incident Response Specialist, you will play a key role in responding to and managing cybersecurity incidents in a timely and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include performing real-time security event monitoring, analysis, and escalation. You will also provide timely detection, identification, and containment of possible cyberattacks or intrusions, determining their effectiveness and impact assessment, and ensuring that Service Level Agreements are met.
You will operate in a 24x7 cyber security operations centre, working closely with the team to identify, contain, and eradicate security threats. Your expertise will be critical in protecting OCBC's digital assets from evolving cyber threats.
Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a Degree or Diploma in Cyber Security or a related field. They should have extensive knowledge of network security, threat hunting, incident response, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities, are essential for this role.
A passion for staying up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, combined with a drive to continuously improve processes and outcomes, is vital for success in this position.
