Experienced Mechanic Wanted for Light Commercial Vehicles and EVs

As a skilled Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles and electric vehicles. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, while minimizing turnaround time.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automotive technology and the ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical issues. You will be working as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles and electric vehicles;
- Diagnosing and repairing complex electrical issues;
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team objectives;
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with workshop service standards.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- National Technical Certificate (NTC) 2 or National ITE Certification (NITEC) 2 in Automotive Technology;
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the automotive repair and service industry;
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, particularly in relation to electrical issues;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Class 3 & 4 driving license (preferable).
You will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Technical expertise in automotive repair and maintenance;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Class 3 & 4 driving license (preferable).
