Job Description

The ideal candidate will oversee the technical operations and marine standards of a fleet of AHTS vessels operating in the offshore oil & gas sector. The position is based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the technical operations of a fleet of AHTS vessels.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective execution of maintenance, repairs, dry-docking, and upgrades.
  • Monitor vessel performance and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Optimize technical performance to ensure high availability and operational efficiency.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all vessels comply with international, flag state, and class regulations.
  • Promote and enforce safety and environmental standards onboard all vessels.

Team Management & Support:

  • Lead and supervise a team of Superintendents, Engineers, and technical support staff.
  • Liaise with Masters and Chief Engineers to resolve technical issues and provide guidance.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Act as the main technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Crewing, HSEQ, and Procurement departments.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture (or equivalent).
  • Chief Engineer license or equivalent maritime qualification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in technical management within the offshore marine industry, with significant exposure to AHTS vessels.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore oil & gas operations and vessel technical systems.
  • Experience managing teams and working in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
