Chief Tender Development Officer

The Procurement Specialist plays a pivotal role in leading the tendering process from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality and competitive proposals are submitted. This encompasses developing and implementing strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
To achieve this, the successful candidate will take charge of market analysis to identify potential opportunities and threats, collaborating with key stakeholders to outline bid strategies and win themes, and managing the creation of compelling written and visual content.
Furthermore, the Contracts Manager must collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and relevance, manage risks associated with tender submissions, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
This role demands strong relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors. The successful candidate will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information and analyze tender outcomes for continuous improvement.
In terms of qualifications, a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required, along with at least 10-15 years of A1 contractor QS experience. Strong technical competence, excellent time management skills, and confident individual leadership are expected.
