**Job Title:** Culinary Innovator

We are seeking a talented and ambitious culinary professional to spearhead the development of innovative pastry recipes and ensure exceptional product quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and plan a diverse range of pastries, bread, and bakery products that meet customer expectations and preferences.
  • Prepare pastries according to our stringent quality standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Establish benchmarks and best practices to guarantee product excellence.
  • Conduct research and development activities to foster continuous improvement and new recipe innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in the pastry industry through ongoing training and education.
  • Provide and manage costings for recipes and products to optimize profitability.
  • Train and mentor new staff members on all SOPs to ensure seamless integration into the team.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct stocktaking exercises to maintain optimal levels.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks as needed to support business operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong passion for baking; experience in pastry production would be a significant advantage.
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Diploma or certificate in a relevant culinary field, such as baking and pastry arts.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environments and meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
