Job Title: Registered WSH Officer

As a key member of our team, the Registered WSH Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the health and safety of our workforce.

  • Our ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management, with a proven track record of implementing effective WSH strategies and practices.

  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting regular site safety inspections, monitoring compliance with WSH regulations, and providing expert guidance on WSH matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop effective control measures to mitigate risks.

  2. Develop and implement comprehensive WSH plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  3. Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.

  4. Maintain accurate records and prepare incident reports to facilitate prompt corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Workplace Safety and Health or a related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in WSH management, preferably in the construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, particularly in the mechanical equipment, process, and petrochemical sectors.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams in fostering a positive safety culture.

  • Able to work independently under extreme weather and site conditions.
