Logistics Coordinator Job Description

This is a dynamic role that requires strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with various teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating local and export orders globally, reviewing Export Letters of Credit, and following up on payment-related matters.
  • The logistics coordinator will also be responsible for booking transportation, arranging shipments, and ensuring the accuracy and timely preparation of all shipping documents.
  • Additional responsibilities include participating in annual stock counts and performing other administrative duties such as invoice verification and document filing.
Requirements
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Well-versed in shipping documentation processes and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with Dangerous Goods (DG) documentation and Microsoft Dynamics Navision is an added advantage
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
