Sports Program Coordinator

This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of sports programs, events, and facility management. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and leadership skills, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and high-quality event delivery that meets operational, safety, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sports programs and events from concept to completion.
- Maintain and upkeep of sports facilities, adhering to safety and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with coaches, internal staff, vendors, and members to ensure smooth operations and event success.
- Handle member inquiries, attend to visitors of sports sections, and assist other department staff with their sports-related enquiries.
- Manage logistics, including venue setup, staffing, and crowd control for events.
- Ensure compliance with relevant sport governing bodies (NSAs), safety regulations, and organizational policies.
- Coordinate partnerships and sponsorships to enhance sports initiatives.
- Promote sports programs and events, engaging with members and stakeholders.
- Degree in Sports Management, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sports operations, facility management, or event management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- In-depth understanding of sports event operations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
