Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

The role of a Restaurant Supervisor is to provide support to the Assistant Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Manager in all areas of floor management.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Supporting the Assistant Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Manager in forecasting staff, equipment, and supply requirements for daily operations.
  • Supervising and participating in dining area cleaning activities.
  • Daily operations - opening/closing of shift, checking systems (email, iPad, phone) for reservations, setting up tables, greeting guests, and up-selling food and beverages.
  • Inventory of floor supplies and equipment.
  • Being a team player and promoting positive team dynamics in the bar and restaurant.

This role also requires performing other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
