Environmental Stewardship Director

Sustainability leaders play a vital role in driving environmental stewardship and ensuring long-term business success. As a senior director of sustainability, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that minimize the organization's ecological footprint while maximizing its social and economic impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with the organization's overall mission and vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability principles into business operations and supply chain management.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential environmental liabilities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies that support sustainable practices.
- Develop and manage budgets for sustainability initiatives and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Hold a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Have at least 12-15 years of experience in a technical and/or sustainability domain.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and developing successful sustainability strategies.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
