The Senior Director, Sustainability role is a critical position that requires a strong leader to drive sustainability efforts.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy galvanizing various functions within the organization to achieve collective goals.
- Stay updated with industry trends risks and opportunities to support strategic planning and facilitate discussions with key partners.
- Manage end-to-end sustainability matters including energy water and waste across the organization building strong working relationships with functional teams to integrate sustainability ownership and inspire positive changes.
- Set up processes and controls for collecting organizing and reporting ESG information aggregating data for reporting purposes.
- Own shared accountability of sustainability metrics such as PUE WUE and carbon emissions with the operations team ensuring adoption of industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the strategy team on green innovation and partnerships with external parties equipping other functions with the right sustainability-related competency.
This role requires a dynamic personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders within and beyond the organization.
Required Skills and QualificationsThis individual should possess a Degree in Engineering with minimum 12-15 years of experience in a technical and/or sustainability domain including leadership positions and cross-functional team management.
