Logistics Operations Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with teams.
  • Coordinate resource allocation to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee personnel scheduling, annual leave, and medical leave, ensuring adequate resources for all operations.
  • Update operational plans regularly to reflect changes and ensure accuracy for business use.
  • Prepare and generate reports for scheduled operations, adhering to company procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned vehicles to ensure their safety and maintenance.
  • Investigate and report on vehicular/property incidents, maintaining objectivity and professionalism.
  • Closely monitor customer service cases, resolving issues promptly and effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Logistics or Operations Management, or equivalent experience (min. 2 years).
  • Valid driving license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and comprehension of systems and processes.
  • Customer service-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and commit to rotating duties, including weekends and early morning shifts.
