Civil Engineering Contract Administrator Position

This role requires a highly skilled professional to oversee contract administration, cost control, and compliance in civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing contracts.
- Verify contract terms and specifications for adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Draft and evaluate variation orders, extension of time claims, and contractual correspondence.
- Prepare progress claims, interim payment applications, and final accounts.
- Monitor project expenditure and track budgets.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors on contractual matters.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients on contractual issues.
- Resolve disputes, negotiate, and settle contractual claims.
This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines is essential.
Requirements:- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with standard construction contracts (e.g., PSSCOC, SIA) is an advantage.
- Thorough knowledge of cost control, contract law, and tender processes.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
