Contract Administrator Opportunity

The role of Contract Manager is a highly sought-after position in the field of civil engineering and contract administration.

Key aspects of this position include overseeing and coordinating the preparation of pre-tender documentation, participating in tender meetings, and managing contract documentation for effective contract administration.

This role also involves collaborating closely with senior management to respond to requests for quotations from clients, supporting project managers in preparing monthly progress claims, and attending site meetings to align with project staff on contractual and commercial matters.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of variation orders, maintaining comprehensive records of work changes, liaising with contractors and clients' quantity surveyors, negotiating subcontractor packages, and analyzing project and contract scopes for effective administration.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and people management skills, be self-motivated and analytical, capable of working independently, and have a background in quantity surveying or contracts.

A diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline is required, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering works.

Candidates should be proficient in using Microsoft Office, MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD, and able to commence work immediately or within a short notice period.
