Senior Cloud Solution Leader

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud.

We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption.

We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leading Complex Projects: Manage and deliver complex cloud migration and implementation projects across multiple industries.
  2. Technical Guidance: Leverage comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.
  3. Bridging Business and Technical Solutions: Combine business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes.
  4. Customer Needs Mapping: Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.
  5. Actionable Solutions: Decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.

Basic Qualifications
  1. Cloud Computing Experience: 10+ years of experience in cloud computing.
  2. Project Management: Proven track record of managing and delivering enterprise level IT projects.
  3. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. AWS Experience: Preferred experience working with AWS services.
  2. Professional Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
  3. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices.
  4. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to establish technical credibility with engineering teams and senior technical decision-makers.
